You’ll earn:

• The first month’s retainer fee once your referral signs a sale agreement and goes live on our platform -

  ($500 for Lite, $1,000 for Pro, or $2,000 for Premium), paid within 10 business days, and

• 10% of the closing fee once their acquisition is finalized and payment has been received.

Timing may vary depending on the deal, but we aim to process rewards within 60 days of all requirements being met.

Once your referral qualifies for a reward, our team will follow up with you directly to arrange payment. Payouts can be issued via ACH, wire transfer, bank transfer, or another approved method.

You’re welcome to refer any business owner who meets the eligibility criteria for our program - We’ve taken on companies of all sizes, ranging from $50K in value to $25M and up.

If they don’t qualify, you can still refer them, but the reward won’t apply. Please review the full referral program terms for more details.

Nope! There’s no cap on the number of referrals you can make. As long as each referred owner and their business qualify, and they complete a sale within two years, you’re eligible to earn rewards.

Absolutely. You can send multiple referrals by emailing your list to referrals@batonmarket.com. Each business will be reviewed individually to ensure they meet the program criteria.

If the business doesn’t complete a sale, no reward is issued. However, you’re always welcome to refer again in the future.

No account is needed to make a referral. Just submit the owner’s info and we’ll handle the rest.

To be eligible for rewards, referrals must be new to Baton, meaning they haven’t had an account in the past two years. Existing or recently active users don’t qualify.

Your referral has up to two years to complete a sale for you to receive the full reward. Our M&A team is here to help them navigate the process and avoid delays.
